Compression Springs

Compression springs are helical, open-coil structures which usually have a constant diameter. This characteristic may vary to suit different applications.

Compression springs store energy when compressed and due to their design, are able to resist compression loads, thus making them suitable for a large variety of applications.

Starco produces different types of compression springs, conical springs, biconical springs, hourglass springs, tapered springs and variable pitch springs. These springs can be produced to your length, diameter and load specifications. Custom designs are also produced by our engineers to meet your load specifications and space criteria.

Compression springs have a variety of uses including valve actuators, electrical switchgear, pressure relief valves and automative applications.
